pc verliest memory

Hoi, hoi, ik zoek een Computernerd, die zou kunnen zeggen wat er bij mij aan de hand is.
Werk met veel plezier sinds langere tijd met HW. Eindelijk heb ik gisterenavond die HW (alt config.2) geaktiveerd om surround seperat te hebben. Sindsdien krijg ik überhaupt geen orgel meer geladen. De Free GB-indikator rechts boven loopt tijdens het laden binnen enkele minuten terug van 22.9 GB naar 0,1 GB en ik krijg de melding : "your computer appears to be running low on memory." Wat is hier aan de hand?? Of wat heb ik gedaan?? Mijn PC is een AMD FX 8350 eight-core 4.01 GHz met 24 GB RAM. Harddisks zijn alle enorm groot, plaats genoeg. Waarom verliest mijn PC plotseling zijn gehele werkgeheugen? Heeft iemend een idee? Duizend dank voor elke tip.

Geldt dit ook voor de oude, bestaande HW omgeving? Of werkt die nog wel goed?

Kun je het laatste deel van de activity log file hier plaatsen waarin staat vanaf het moment van opstarten HW en het laden van een sample set?
In HW: Menu help --> View activity log --> In de webbrowser: Menu bestand en opslaan.
Vervolgens zippen en als bijlage bij je bericht stoppen.

Hallo Evert-Jan, ben weer terug van vakantie. . . haha. Ouwe probleem bestaat echter nog steeds.
Kleinere orgels laten zich zonder meer laden. Echter o.a. Utrecht duurt vreselijk lang en bv. Laurenskerk krijg ik al helemaal niet geladen, op grond van "running low on memory".
Bij Utrecht wordt het laden onderbroken door "please wait while audio and midi starts" (???) en dan gaat het erg lang duren of breekt af.
Ik doe er een activity log van de laatste 2 orgels bij en hoop dat er iets positiefs te vermelden valt.
Natuurlijk hoor ik graag van jullie.2020-01-24-11-42-18: INF:5184 ASIO driver 'ASIO: Generic Low Latency ASIO Driver' does not provide any output channels.

Welkom terug van je wereldreis.

Je hebt "maar" 24 GB geheugen (en na aftrek van Windows is er nog 22.8 GB vrij), en je probeert daar veel te veel in te duwen.

Bij Tholen houd je maar ruim 300 MB over na het laden van het orgel.
Bij Utrecht krijg je een waarschuwing: Warning: the computer is running dangerously low on memory.
Die sample set is ruim 24 GB geconfigureerd, dus veel meer dan je aan vrije RAM hebt

Ik ga er van uit dat je alles in 20 bits gecomprimeerd laadt.
Je moet bij Tholen dan de 16 voet labiaal registers in 16 bit laden.
Bij Utrecht ook en daar ook enkele 8 voeters (Prestant, Roerfluit) in 16 bit.
En anders moet je maar aangeven hoe je e.e.a. laadt.

Als hij aan het laden is, moet je op het scherm blijven kijken naar de Free RAM indicator (rechts boven).
Er moet minimaal 0,5 GB vrije RAM over blijven als je PC geoptimaliseerd is. Is dat niet zo, houd dan 1 GB aan.

Dus de sets opnieuw configureren.

Dank je wel Evert-Jan voor je razendsnelle antwoord.
En ik maar denken dat ik alles heb en ook kan. . . ?!
Natuurlijk ben ik met jouw advies gelijk aan de gang gegaan en zie daar . . . alles gaat fantastisch en ik hoor eigenlijk geen akoestisch kwaliteitsverlies. Hartelijk dank, good man !
